Species in this genus are found throughout southeast Asia. This genus includes 32 species. As with the many of the southeast Asian species, many in this genus are known to be temperamental with significant venom.

This is currently an undescribed fossorial/terrestrial species from Vietnam. They grow to approximately 6 inches. This species is fast with ambush tendencies. They have a striking metallic blue to silver coloration. They have become increasingly popular in the hobby and are readily available.
Habitat: Believed to be from the highland forests of Vietnam where they reside in burrows surrounded by dense leaflitter and forest canopies.

This is a relatively available species from Vietnam. They are heavy webbers who make their appearance during the night. They have blue iridescence under the proper lighting. This species can reach 6 inches and are considering to have a fast growth rate.
Habitat: Tropical forests of Vietnam, residing in warm an humid environments. They create an intricate webbing system with deep burrows.

This is currently an undescribed fossorial/terrestrial species from Thailand. They grow to approximately 7 inches, making them one of the largest Chilobrachys species. This species is fossorial, and will create a deep burrow. They are considered to have the same spicy disposition as all other species in this genus. They have a dark to solid black coloration.
Habitat: This species is found in dense tropical rainforests in Thailand. They are specifically found in Kaeng Krachan National Park, hence the name.
